Hazardous or unsafe material needs the right outlet.
These materials need a suitable disposal program or specialist. Local rules and the item’s condition still matter, so ask before setting anything out.
- Gasoline, fuel, oil, antifreeze, and other automotive fluids
- Pressurized containers
- Herbicides and pesticides
- Wet paint, bleach, and chemical cleaners
- Biohazardous or medical waste
- Items in dangerous or unstable areas
- Items too massive to lift or move safely with available equipment
- Other hazardous materials or suspect asbestos-containing debris
