What to expect from Garage Demolition
Every job begins with a quick review of what needs to go and how the crew can reach it. Photos are useful for an early conversation, but the final scope depends on what is present, how much space it takes, and whether any item needs special handling.
Once the scope and price are approved, the crew can handle the lifting and loading included in the agreed job. Keep anything that should stay in a separate, clearly marked area. If an item contains chemicals, fuel, pressurized material, refrigerant, batteries, or other regulated components, mention that before the visit.
Good fit for this service
- Items that are too bulky, awkward, or numerous for an ordinary vehicle
- Clearouts where a defined keep pile and removal pile can be established
- Projects with a clear access path from the item to the loading area
- Jobs where photos and a short item list can clarify the scope in advance
Before the crew arrives
- Mark the removal items. Use painter’s tape or group items together so there is no confusion.
- Protect personal information. Remove documents and wipe data from computers or smart devices.
- Clear the route. Move pets, vehicles, loose rugs, and small obstacles away from the work path.
- Flag special conditions. Point out stairs, damaged flooring, pests, sharp material, or anything connected to utilities.
